Eleanor is a not–for–profit sector leader, currently Executive Director of the Canadian Academy of Health Sciences and previously Executive Director of Nature Canada, a national environmental charity.
A passionate volunteer and community builder, she has experience on Ridgemont High School parent council, as President of Vista school–based daycare, on the executive of the Alta Vista Community Association, as a founding member of PACIFI, and the Canadian Committee for the IUCN.
Eleanor has lived in Ottawa South for 15 years with her husband Stewart and their two teenage sons. She loves the wonderful community of Ottawa South and looks forward to serving as MPP.
As part of an NDP government, Eleanor will work with Andrea Horwath for a more affordable, fair and sustainable future for all.
