Due to weather conditions, the City of Ottawa has issued an overnight parking ban so that City crews can plow easily and effectively.

Street parking will not be permitted between 1:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. across Ottawa.

The overnight parking ban will remain in effect until the City announces it has been lifted. All vehicles parked on the street may be ticketed or towed. During the overnight parking ban, only on-street parking permit holders are exempt from this restriction.

Residents will have free access to covered City-owned parking garages. Visit ottawa.ca for more information about which City garages are free during winter overnight parking bans.
