City Laurier Client Service Centre employee tests positive for COVID-19

News of the positive case was sent out in a memo Saturday afternoon to the city council members.

A Service Ottawa employee has tested positive for COVID-19, the city has confirmed. 

News of the positive case was sent out in a memo Saturday afternoon to the city council members. 

According to the memo, the city received the positive COVID-19 test on Thursday, October 15. 

The employee is self-isolating at home. 

The staff member was last in the workplace at the Laurier Client Service Centre on October 15. 

To protect the privacy of the individual, their name will not be released.

Contact tracing is being conducted to let any person who may have had contact with the individual know of the positive case.
