COVID-19 case reported at Ottawa-Carleton Detention Centre

It's one of 59 institutional outbreaks in the city.

Ottawa Public Health (OPH) says an inmate at the Ottawa-Carleton Detention Centre has tested positive for COVID-19.

According to OPH's institutional outbreak dashboard, the new case of novel coronavirus started on October 24.

It's one of 59 institutional outbreaks declared across Ottawa, Monday, October 26.

OPH is also following nine community outbreaks -- seven in linked to sports and recreation and two in workplaces.
