The first of a series of information sessions for flood victims will be held Monday afternoon in West Carleton.

A total of four information sessions are scheduled, this week, with the first one planned for the Fitzroy Harbour Community Centre, from 2-4 p.m., Monday.

The second information session will be held Monday evening, at the Constance and Buckham's Bay Community Centre, from 6:30 until 8:30 p.m.

The sessions will provide information on safely returning to a flooded-out home, removing waste and debris, as well as applying for financial assistance.

More information sessions are planned for Tuesday in Cumberland, and Thursday in Britannia.
