The OPP have arrested four people in connection with an assault at a home in Alfred, west of Hawkesbury.
OPP officers and the Prescott-Russell Paramedic Service located a 28-year-old man in front of his home, with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. He was transported to hospital.
Police say an investigation revealed four people went to the victim's home, where he was assaulted by two of the suspects.
On July 6, the OPP and police executed a search warrant in Cornwall, where all four suspects were arrested.
Shane Riopelle, 38, and Luc Cayen, 51, both of Cornwall have been charged with Aggravated Assault. Riopelle was also charged with Fail to Comply with Recognizance.
They will remain in custody until a scheduled court appearance.
Taylor Barkhouse, 27, and Kimberley Friend, 49, have been charged with aggravated assault and accessory after the fact to commit an offence.
These accused were released and are scheduled to appear in court on August 7.
