CHEZ 106.1 is celebrating the life and music of Gord Downie by becoming GORD FM as the station marks the third anniversary of his passing by raising donations for local cancer research.
It’ll be all Tragically Hip all the time on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. as the station will play the Canadian band’s biggest hits.

Gord Downie died of a glioblastoma, a type of brain cancer, on October 27, 2017.
The station is also raising money for the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation.
