More than 30 new cases of COVID-19 confirmed in Ottawa

The province's total of positive cases is now above 1,000.

Ottawa Public Health has confirmed 31 new cases of COVID-19 in the city, bringing Ottawa's new total of confirmed cases to 106.

The announcement came through the OPH website Saturday afternoon. 

Details of the patients who have tested positive and how they contracted the virus have not yet been made available. 

Also under investigation is one institutional outbreak. No further details have been provided.

The province's total of confirmed positive cases now sits at 1,118.
