The Ottawa Fire Service (OFS) confirm that they are currently looking into a fire that took place in a three-storey residence in Orléans earlier this morning.

OFS received a call from someone on site, who reported the scent of smoke coming from the building's vents. Shortly after, they arrived at the Belcourt Manor, located at 1344 Belcourt Blvd, at about 10:10 a.m.

Upon arriving, crews noticed that smoke was coming from the electrical panel and discovered a fire in the attic.

No injuries have been reported so far and no one displaced from the residence following the incident.

An OFS investigator is currently looking into what may have caused the blaze.
