A collision involving a pedestrian and a pickup truck has left one person dead in Cobden.
According to the Upper Ottawa Valley Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), the crash happened at approximately 6:30 a.m. on Highway 17.
The driver of the vehicle is not injured but police say the pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
The highway is currently closed between Turcotte and Mountain Roads for the investigation.
The OPP says there is a short detour in place.
