Ottawa's soccer team, Fury FC, will be hitting the road again as they take on Cincinnati at the Nippert Stadium in Ohio Saturday night.

Ottawa Fury FC defeated AS Blainville 1-0 (aggregate: 2-0) in their Canadian Championship preliminary round on Wednesday. Meanwhile, FC Cincinnati played Toronto FC II, which ended in a 3-3 draw.

In Ottawa Fury's last United Soccer League match, they defeated the New York Red Bulls II 3-0. Adonijah Reid scored a hat-trick.

"We have reached the semi-finals of the Canadian Championship and this was one of our goals this season," said Ottawa Fury FC Head Coach, Nikola Popovic.

Fury's Goalkeeper, Maxime Crépeau, currently ranks number 16 with 31 saves in the USL. In the Eastern Conference, he ranks in sixth place. Crépeau also leads in the Eastern Conference with the most number of clean sheets.

Fury FC's Eddie Edward leads the Eastern Conference with most yellow cards received in a three-way tie between Edward, Dekel Keinan (FC Cincinnati), and Joe Cole (Tampa Bay Rowdies).

"We know it’s going to be a very tough challenge. They’re a very tough team. We respect them but we also have confidence in ourselves and in our good run of form. We have to stick to our game plan and our strengths. If we do that we can get a good result in this game,"  said Ottawa Fury FC Forward, Tony Taylor.

Ottawa Fury's overall record this season is 5W-6L-3D.

FC Cincinnati's overall record this season is 9W-3L-4D.
