Ottawa man charged with sex offences against kids; police worry more victims out there

Ottawa police allege the incidents occurred between 2018 and this year.

Police have charged an Ottawa man with several disturbing sexual offences involving children, and they believe there may be more victims they haven't yet spoken with.

Frederick Gagnon, 40, of Ottawa was charged with several counts of indecent acts, sexual interference, sexual assault on children under 16, expose genitals to a person under 16, invitation to sexual touching, accessing child pornography and telecommunication with a person under 14 for specific criminal offence.

Ottawa police allege the incidents occurred between 2018 and this year. Investigators think there could be other victims still out there, and urge them to contact police.
