Charles Pelchat's football picks paid off, to the tune of $334,108.50.

The bank employee recently won the prize by picking the correct result for all 14 games on his card.

"I've won twice before, but this is my biggest pools prize," said Pelchat as he picked up winnings at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto. "I checked the results in the ProLine App first thing in the morning and hopped on the first available flight to Toronto."

The 27-year old plans to pay off his car and maybe put a down payment on a house with his winnings.

"Words can't describe the experience," added Charles. "It feels good!"

The way Pools works is a $5 wager allows you to pick your sport and card number, and then select who you think will win each matchup. The most correct picks wins or shares the prize pool.

Pelchat's winning ticket was purchased at Petro Canada on Eagleson Road in Kanata.
