Six puppies, dubbed the "Redblacks litter," will be raised by members of RNation and featured on Redblacks-related media content in the 2019 season, to raise awareness for Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind and opportunities the organization provides members of the community.

The litter was born in March, and consists our four black Labrador Retrievers and two yellow Labrador Retrievers -- four males and two females.

Throughout the season, the pups will be undergoing basic obedience training, learning important social skills, and preparing for their next step to become formal guide dogs.

The Redblacks will also soon kick off a naming contest that it says "all of RNation is invited to participate in."

Each of Ottawa's home games will have a puppy in attendance. They will also be making appearances at other local events throughout the year.
