Police respond to pair of shootings in city's west end

In one of the incidents, two men were sent to hospital in serious but stable condition.

Ottawa police are investigating two shootings last night in the city's west end. 

In the first incident, police were called to the 100 block of Boyce Avenue, near Carling Avenue and Bayshore drive Monday at 5:45 p.m. for reports of a shooting. 

Two men, aged 23 and 34, were located with gunshot wounds. 

Both were taken to hospital in serious but stable condition. 

Then, around 9 p.m., officers responded to reports of gunshots at Ramsey Crescent, near Pinecrest Road and the Queensway.

No injuries reported in this incident

There are no suspects in custody for either shooting.
