Three row houses under construction in Orleans destroyed by fire

Fire crews declared a 2-alarm blaze upon arrival.

Ottawa Fire Services received multiple 911 calls Sunday night about heavy black smoke and flames coming from a number of row houses under construction in Orleans.

Upon arrival at Innes Road and de Lamarche Avenue, crews confirmed a block of row houses were on fire.

There were also several propane tanks surrounding the properties that were compromised.

The homes were unoccupied and no injuries were reported.

Ottawa police and Ottawa paramedics also attended the scene.
