Three suspects wanted in Barrhaven home invasion and shooting

Police arrived at the scene of the incident on September 7 and found a man with non-life threatening injuries.

Ottawa police are hoping the public can assist in the search for three suspects, wanted in connection with a home invasion and shooting. 

Last Saturday, just after 4:30 a.m., officers were called to a shooting at a home on Woodroffe Avenue, south of Cresthaven Drive. 

Police arrived at the scene and found a man with non-life threatening injuries. 

Shortly after, the three suspects were seen fleeing on foot. 

The initial investigation revealed that the suspects had broken into the victim’s home before the shooting took place.

The first suspect is described as:

  • Lighter-skinned black man 
  • Between 20 and 30 years old
  • About 6' 2" 
  • Slim build
  • Was wearing a black sweater, dark pants, and a black balaclava

The second suspect is described as:

  • Black man
  • Between 20 and 30 years old
  • Heavy-set build
  • Was wearing a black hoodie and a black face mask

The third suspect is described as:

  • Black man
  • Between 20 and 30 years old
  • About 5' 7" 
  • Slim build
  • Was dressed all in black
