Bust in Russell County nets $65,000 worth of drugs

Officers seized meth, pot, cocaine and magic mushrooms from homes in Bourget and Alfred-Plantagenet

A big drug bust in Russell County this week saw $65,000 worth of illegal drugs taken off the street. 

On June 12, the OPP East Region Community Street Crime Unit along with Russell County OPP officers conducted a vehicle stop and executed three simultaneous search warrants at homes in Bourget and Alfred-Plantagenet. 

According to police, officers discovered meth, cocaine, MDMA, magic mushrooms, oxycodone, cannabis, cannabis resin and xanax worth $65,000. They also seized a 2006 Lincoln Navigator. 

Yvon Vieno, 31, was arrested and now faces several trafficking and possession charges. 

Audrey Mapp, 33, has been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking. 

Valerie Seguin, 40, faces possession and trafficking charges. 

All three also face charges under the Cannabis Act.
