Drugs and weapons seized in Winchester

Three people are facing charges after Ontario Provincial Police officers uncovered crystal meth, marijuana, weapons and cash at a Winchester home.

Officers searched a house on Beach Street, Wednesday.

The weapons found include a baton, hatchet, knife and pellet guns.

Christopher McRoberts, 40, of North Dundas, was arrested and charged with:

- Possession of a controlled substance for purpose of trafficking
- Possession of illicit cannabis (Cannabis Act)
- Possession of weapon for dangerous purpose (2 counts)
- Fail to comply with conditions of an undertaking (2 counts)

Randy Froats, 23, of South Dundas, was arrested and charged with:

- Possession of a controlled substance
- Unauthorized possession of a weapon
- Possession of break in instruments
- Fail to comply with conditions of an undertaking (2 counts)

McRoberts and Froats were held in custody and are scheduled to appear in a Cornwall court.

Courtney Robinson, 30, of Prescott, was arrested and charged with:

- Possession of a controlled substance
- Possession of illicit cannabis (Cannabis Act)

She was released and scheduled to appear in Morrisburg court on January 8.
