G2 driver clocked at 92 km/hr in Orléans school zone

A stunt driving charge has been laid.

A 20-year-old Ottawa man is having his car impounded and license suspended after police say he was caught speeding through a school zone in Orléans.

Tuesday morning, traffic officers say they spotted a car going 92 km/hr in a 40 km/hr school zone.

The driver had a G2 license.

On top of losing his car and license for seven days, the 20-year-old is also facing speeding and stunt driving charges.
