Gatineau police looking for suspects in east-side business robbery

Two men walked into 777 Liquidations Centre a few months ago and demanded cash.

The Gatineau Police Service is asking for the public's help in identifying two suspects in a robbery at a business on Rue Brébeuf.
Officers responded to a call from 777 Liquidations Centre at 6:45 p.m., on January 22.

Police say two men walked into the store with blue bandanas covering their faces. One of the suspects approached a clerk at the counter and demanded cash. The other suspect, who officers say was hiding his hands in his sweater, became very insistent.

The clerk handed over a sum of money to the suspect, who left the business with his accomplice, heading south on Rue Brébeuf.

No employees were injured during the incident.
The first suspect is described as:

  • Caucasian man
  • Very blue eyes
  • In his 20's
  • Speaks in French
  • 6' 1"
  • 180 lbs
  • Was wearing a red hoodie with a "Support 81" logo, gray pants, a blue neck warmer, a cap and shoes with a white rubber tip

 The second suspect is described as:

  • Caucasian man
  • Was wearing a hoodie with a "Monster Energy" energy drink logo, a blue neck warmer, black pants and a yellow toque
