One person in hospital following serious ATV collision in Lanark County

The person was sent to hospital with serious, but non-life threatening injuries.

Lanark OPP are investigating a serious ATV collision that sent one person to hospital.

At about 1:15 p.m. Saturday, OPP officers, Lanark County paramedics and firefighters were called to the scene on McDonalds Corners Road, west of Playfairville. 

Several ATVs had been travelling together when one rider lost control and rolled it over, ejecting him from the machine. 

The 58-year-old rider, who is a resident of the area, was transported to hospital by way of Air Orange with serious, but non-life threatening injuries. 

An OPP collision deconstructionist and OPP technical collision investigator assessed were also on scene assisting officers.

OPP don’t anticipate laying charges.
