OPP investigating serious rollover crash west of Alexandria

The driver, who is in hospital, was the only one inside a vehicle which rolled into a ditch.

One man is in hopsital with life-threatening injuries after a single-vehicle crash on County Road 43, west of Alexandria and south of Maxville.

The Ontario Provincial Police's preliminary investigation shows that shortly after 3 p.m., Friday, a vehicle travelling between Boy Scout Road and Loch Garry Road flipped into a ditch.

The driver was the only one in the vehicle.

OPP continue to investigate and are directing traffic through the area Friday afternoon. Officers are asking motorists to avoid the area.
