OPP looking for pumpkin thief in Embrun

A suspicious woman has been spotted stealing pumpkins in two separate incidents.

The Russell County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police is hoping members of the public can help it identify a woman, who has allegedly been taking pumpkins from the front of homes.

Officers received two separate complaints regarding the theft of pumpkins within the village of Embrun.

On Sunday, October 7, around 11:00 p.m., A woman exited the passenger side of a newer-looking white two-door vehicle and removed a pumpkin from in front of a residence on Menard Street.

Police say another incident happened on Monday, October 8, Shortly after midnight. The same suspect was seen stealing pumpkins from another residence in the area of Lapointe Boulevard.

The suspect is described as:

- Caucasian female
- Approximately 5' 6"
- 25-35 years old
- Shoulder-length blond hair
- Wearing glasses
- White button up sweater, black pants and light coloured shin-high boots
