OPP searching for federal offender, known to frequent Ottawa

Kirk Nichol is serving more than 11 years in prison for robbery and weapon-related charges.

The Ontario Provincial Police's Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (R.O.P.E.) Squad is asking for the public's help in locating a federal offender, wanted on a Canada Wide Warrant as a result of his breach of statutory release.  

Kirk Nichol is described as:

  • Caucasian
  • 61-year-old
  • 6' 2" (191 cm)
  • 200 lbs (91 kgs)
  • Brown hair (balding)
  • Hazel eyes 
  • Tattoos on both forearms, right upper arm, chest
  • Scar on his forehead  

He is serving an 11-year, four-month and 30-day sentence for:

  • Robbery
  • Use of Imitation Firearm While Committing Indictable Offence
  • Possession of Weapons Dangerous
  • Possession of Schedule II Substance 

The offender is known to frequent the Ottawa and Toronto areas.
