Ottawa police search for suspect in Chinatown pharmacy robbery

The suspect is a thin, white man with a moustache and a hand tattoo.

The Ottawa Police Service is asking for th public's help in identifying a suspect in a robbery on Somerset Street West, a block west of Bronson Avenue. 

Officials say a man walked into a pharmacy on February 7 at 12:16 p.m. and demanded cash. 

No one was injured in the robbery. 

The suspect is described as:

  • White man
  • 5' 9'' (175 cm)
  • Thin build
  • Moustache
  • Wearing an 'army' green coloured coat, grey jogging pants, and black boots
  • A tattoo was seen on his right hand 

Anyone with information regarding this robbery, or any other robbery, is asked to call the Ottawa Police's Robbery Unit at 613-236-1222, ext. 5116.
